Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela, George Bush, Francois Mitterrand, Helmut Kohl- just some of the international heads of State who have dined at State banquets at 10 Downing Street since 1993. They all used what is recognised as one of the most important collections of contemporary British silver, The Silver Trust Collection.

The Trust is a charitable trust established in 1985 to promote the work of British silversmiths. The collection was especially created for use on a regular basis at 10 Downing Street. It represents some of the best work of practising British silversmiths amd is a wonderful showcase for their talents. The quality and variety of design is stunning.

The Collection, which includes plates, candelabras, coffee sets, water jugs, fruit stands and tumblers will be set as a grand banquet for 25 guests in the beautiful Long Gallery, enabling visitors to view the collection as it would be seen at No.10.
